WHo is handmade studios?
Handmade Studios is comprised of a writer-artist duo from Ontario, Canada. Their aim is to tell compelling page-turning stories through vibrant artwork and sharp writing.
Aidan Manley is THE WRITER. An award-winning filmmaker, Manley uses his cinematic sensibilities to craft addictive comic narratives. His talent lays especially in his ability to write fleshed out and complex characters, and always puts a focus on the human drama within his work.
Preston Mainprize is THE ARTIST. Mainprize has been studying and practicing art since childhood, and with persistence, has found an artistic style that is his own. He continues to experiment with different techniques and never shies away from stepping out of his comfort zone, if it means he gets to grow as an artist.
Together, they combine their skill-sets and shared interests in movies, video games (and of course comics!) to create comics that they themselves would love to pick up from the local comic shop.
